Who needs the membership Start with the end in mind — who is going through life events now that you may be able to help with LegalShield? Who is getting/recently got married, divorced, is having/just had a baby, became a grandparent, is selling or looking to buy a home, just started a business? Rather than “selling someone” look for people you can help serve with LegalShield’s benefits, and if it’s someone you know well enough, it’s perfectly acceptable to let them know you’re excited to help them see the value in LegalShield AND you’ll also be reaching a goal yourself (so long as your goal being met doesn’t come across as more important than their needs being fulfilled. Who in your family or among your good friends doesn’t have an updated will and needs one? As a new associate you want to share a 3rd party tool, like a sizzle call or a video. This makes it easier for you, and the prospect willl receive a complete and accurate overview of our products. You can share your 30 second story with prospects, then invite them to watch/hear a tool.
Your 30 second story After that exposure ask them what they liked best about what they saw/heard. You'll proably agree with them. The next step is to get their questiosns answered. As a new associate you want to arrange a 3-way call with you business partner to get their questions answered, and let the business partned guide the prospect to the next step. The next step might be a full presentation, a Zoom call or show them how to sign up on your website. |

Letter to new members
Here is what I send to every member I enroll. Often times members don't really understand how the service is designed to work. All this is available thru the app but sometimes technology will experience glitches, so it's important we help our members understand how the service works and that the app is just ONE way to use Welcome to LegalShield, (Name)!
Your LegalShield Member Number is: Number Here Save that phone number in your phone - I have mine saved under "My Law Firm" in contacts. Of course, you can arrange a call back from your law firm via the LegalShield app, too, which is super simple (see attachment below). You can call the law firm during business hours Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, and you can call in on ANY personal matter! When you call, someone will confirm your identity and ask for a general idea of why you're calling. They'll give you an "intake" number, then forward your case to the right department so an attorney specialist for that area of law can call you back. When calling about multiple issues, you may get multiple intake numbers - one for each area of law - and multiple attorneys calling you back. You should always receive a call back from an attorney within 8 business hours, and they'll try calling several times if they miss you.

The most common scenario for a membership to be in pre-cancel is that the credit card was replaced or expired, and a new payment method has not been provided.
The member may not be aware that their membership is in pre-cancel and simply need to provide the new payment method. Check your PRE CANCEL REPORT every week. Go wo www.LSEngage.com, slick on Reports, in the drop down menu select Personal Pre=Cancel Members.
You can make the member aware of this and offer to help them with a three-way call to our Rapid Response Line 866.966.2222 to get the membership information updated. Use the scripts below.
